Brandy is speaking out about her farse of a marriage to producer/her daughter’s father Robert Smith when she was pregnant with Sy’Rai.  She says to Us Weekly:

“I lied because of the fear of what people would think and the pressure to be a good role model,”

Robert confirmed this years ago and everyone pretty much knew it from jump.  She’s about 6 years too late.   But her album is about to drop so maybe not.

The Roots were in a bad bus accident while on their way to Paris last night.  Their double decker tour us overturned on the highway and they a had to crawl out.  Surprisingly, it wasn’t fatal.  Questlove actually blogged about the who shocking turn of events right after the crash hile he was still on the scene.  Wow.

YBF L.A. Correspondent Shannan was on the scene last night at Carmelo Anthony’s bash to celebrate his new shoe and…just because:

Carmelo brought along his official girl LaLa.  Still no word on what the wedding hold up for the engaged couple is.  And it looks like Melo wasn’t too keen on showing off his semi-new braidless hair either.

Tyrese flew solo to the party.

And so did the fellas David Banner and Duane Martin.  Everybody’s lookin’ laid back nice.

Remy Ma has made her list and is checking it twice.  Her Christmas list consists of GTFO of jail.  Her lawyers are now appealing her conviction saying the judge in the case committed errors–leading her to being found guilty of shooting her “friend” Makeda Barnes and ending up in the slammer since March of this year:

At issue specifically, were the judge’s instructions regarding the testimony of Remy’s victim, Makeda Smith-Barnes, who was shot by the rapper outside a New York City nightclub during an argument over $3000.
In closing arguments on March 24, Remy’s attorney Ivan Fisher argued that Smith-Barnes’ testimony actually supported his client’s explanation of the shooting as an accident.

However, the jury was instructed that if they believed the victim to be “truthful and accurate,” under the law, her words were enough to establish reasonable doubt.

Additionally, Fisher was barred by the court from arguing that the shooting in fact occurred during a struggle for the .45 caliber automatic handgun which, allegedly resulted in Smith-Barnes being shot in the abdomen at close range.

These two instructions, the appeal states, amounted to a “directed verdict,” which they say should be examined as more than just accidental error.

And Usher has finally revealed the details surrounding his new baby.  His wife Tameka Raymond will be delivering their second BOY together on December 15th to be exact.  Just in time for a Christmas bundle of joy.  Ursh finally revealed the details he’s been keeping on the hush to Stevie Wonder on Stevie’s radio show this week.  He says they haven’t finalized a name, but they’re open to suggestions from the public.  Congrats to the Raymonds.

It’s official. Mr. and Mrs. Carter are the highest earning celebrity couple according to Forbes this year. Beyonce & Jay-Z have earned $162 million combined just this past year–which lands them at the #1 spot:

Any way you slice it, the chart-topping newlyweds have had a monster year. He banked $82 million by signing a $150 million 10-year recording, touring and merchandising deal with concert promoter Live Nation and releasing his second platinum comeback CD, American Gangster. She raked in $80 million, thanks to an entertainment empire including fashion, film and publishing deals as well as a concert tour that sold $50 million in tickets and endorsement deals with L’Oréal, Direct TV and American Express, among others.

And this was only June 1, 2007-June 1, 2008. So these two definitely have stacks on deck…

And Hollywood’s resident skankaholic Aubrey O’Day may be getting her own reality show. She told Hollyscoop.com that she’s either going back on the “MTB” show in some way or getting her own show. I’m sure the latter will be produced by The Diddy himself too. Wackness at its best.  And I’m not watching unless D. Woods is involved in some way.
